PolicyMogul is a UK public affairs platform that brings political monitoring, stakeholder mapping, a policymaker CRM and a lobbying platform together. You set topics and keywords, and it alerts you to relevant updates from Parliament and government, then lets you find and filter the MPs, peers and advisers most relevant to an issue, log interactions and send tracked emails. Every plan includes an AI assistant with a monthly allowance of AI credits; AI summaries and analytics start on Pro, and Parliament live and report building on Mogul. The vendor also says every plan can be used inside Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools, so a team can query its monitoring from the assistant it already uses. Unusually for this category, prices are published. It launched free in 2022, and some older articles still describe it that way; it is now a paid product with a free trial.

For comms teams: in-house public affairs or comms teams that want monitoring and stakeholder work in one place.

Best for

  • • In-house public affairs or comms teams that want monitoring and stakeholder work in one place
  • • Teams that want a published price before a sales call
  • • Teams already working in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot who want monitoring inside that assistant

Pricing

Free trial. For companies and charities: Starter £395 a month billed annually (£4,740) or £495 monthly, one user and one topic; Pro £595 a month annually or £695 monthly, unlimited users and three topics; Mogul £795 a month annually or £995 monthly, five topics; Enterprise on request. Extra topics £95 a month. Prices exclude VAT.

Verified 22 October 2026 on PolicyMogul's own pricing page (companies and charities tab). The homepage FAQ still says plans start from £195 a month; the pricing page is the figure used here. Agencies and consultants have a separate price list.

What works well

  • + Published prices, which is rare among political monitoring vendors
  • + Monitoring, stakeholder mapping and CRM in one product
  • + Unlimited users from Pro, which suits a small team sharing the work

Watch out for

  • - The entry plan covers one user and one topic, so most teams will look at Pro
  • - AI summaries are not on the Starter plan
  • - The homepage and pricing page disagree on the starting price, so confirm the quote in writing

When to choose this

Choose PolicyMogul when you want UK political monitoring and stakeholder mapping in one tool, with a price you can see before the first call, and you are happy to start on a trial rather than a demo.

Who should look elsewhere

If you want analysts reading Parliament for you as well as software, Dods or DeHavilland put consultants behind the alerts. If your team already uses Vuelio for media work, adding its political module may be simpler than a second platform. And if you only follow one or two issues, the free official sources and TheyWorkForYou alerts may be enough to start.

Key features

  • • Political monitoring portal with email alerts, by topic and unlimited keywords
  • • Stakeholder mapping by relevance, influence and sentiment
  • • Policymaker CRM with tracked emails, notes, tags and activity logging
  • • Lobbying platform for making briefing material available to policymakers
  • • AI assistant on every plan (monthly AI credits); AI summaries and analytics from Pro
  • • Use inside Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools, included on every plan (vendor claim)
  • • Report builder, Parliament live and dynamic groups on Mogul

Governance & data

Data inputs Topics, keywords, stakeholder notes and contact activity you log; any lobbying material you upload
Model training & controls Not stated on the pricing page; confirm how AI features and the assistant integrations handle your data before connecting them
Admin, SSO & permissions Multi-user accounts from Pro; confirm role controls with the vendor
Audit trail & approvals Activity logging in the CRM; confirm export and retention terms
Risk notes AI summaries of parliamentary content are a starting point. Check any quote or position against Hansard or the official report before using it. Connecting monitoring to a general assistant moves your watch list and notes into that assistant, so treat it as an approval decision.

Governance information is based on publicly available vendor documentation. Verify with your vendor before procurement decisions.
