Creditable against Deploy
Consult is the entry paid rung into Deploy Comms With AI. If the session points to a Deploy package and you go on to book one, the fee you pay is credited against it. You pay it once.
What Consult is not. It is not Deploy. It will not hand you a finished AI use policy or a document suite, and it is not a training session. Consult gives you the decision and the route. Deploy builds the documents. The free template library is there for everything you can do yourself.

Delivered by Michael MacLennan
Every Consult session is delivered directly by Michael MacLennan, founder of Faur, creator of Comms With AI, and AI Communications Leader of the Year at the inaugural AI Comms Awards. The person on the call is the practitioner who built the system. Michael combines two decades of senior communications work (Brunswick, Red Bull, Barclaycard, and charity-sector leadership roles) with hands-on AI capability built through an Imperial College machine learning credential and live implementation across multiple sectors. The session is a conversation with a practitioner, not a script.

It settles the governance and data questions your sector raises and hands you quick wins for the first 30 days. It is written in plain English so you can circulate it to colleagues, a CEO or a board, and it is yours to keep and build on however you like.
Is the Consult fee creditable against a Deploy package?
Yes. Consult Comms With AI is the entry paid rung into Deploy Comms With AI. If you go on to book a Deploy package, the fee you pay is credited against it, so the session is never a cost on top.
How is Consult different from Deploy?
Consult gives you a decision and a route in 45 minutes plus a written note. Deploy Comms With AI builds the documents: AI use policy, governance framework, tool deployment instructions and more, tailored to your team. Consult helps you work out what you need. Deploy produces it.
Do I need to have used the templates first?
No. Many people book Consult having never opened the library. The session works just as well as a starting point as it does after the free templates have taken you part of the way.
What happens after the session?
That is up to you. Some people take the advisory note and run with it themselves using the free library. Others use it as the brief for a Deploy package. There is no obligation either way.
