If you are researching the open web rather than your own files, Perplexity is the right tool. If you need drafting, tone work and reasoning across a long brief, a general assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT will take you further. And if your organisation is a Microsoft shop, Copilot's grounding in your own tenancy covers similar ground without adding a Google account to the stack.
