The result is in. At the inaugural AI Comms Awards on 18 June, Comms With AI won Gold for Best Innovation in AI Tools for Communications, and I was named AI Communications Leader of the Year.

Six months ago this was a folder of templates on a laptop. The templates, toolkits and five-phase operating system that earned both awards are all free to use, with no registration: browse the library.
What the judges were recognising isn’t cleverness with AI. It’s the unglamorous part: testing every prompt before it ships, documenting what doesn’t work as carefully as what does, and building for the comms professional with thirty minutes and a real deadline.
The official citation called the work “simple, specific and scalable”, with one judge noting it was “an innovative tool grounded in strong communications use cases and delivering real results”.
Thank you to Communicate Magazine for taking AI in communications seriously enough to judge it properly, to the practitioners who tested the work and told me plainly when it didn’t hold up, and to the comms leaders who shared what was actually keeping them up at night.
On Wednesday 24 June we open the next piece: Leader Comms With AI, the first vertical of the platform, built for senior comms leaders rolling out AI across their teams, opening with a free Leadership AI Governance Toolkit. More then.
