This is a curated library of communications templates and a directory of AI tools — each one designed to solve a real problem that comms professionals face. Every template includes:

• AI prompts — to generate a first draft quickly
• Human review checklists — to catch what AI misses
• Context — when to use it and what you'll need

The tools directory features curated AI tools that work well with communications workflows. Where we've used tools directly ourselves, we indicate this.

The philosophy

AI is brilliant at producing first drafts. It's not so good at understanding organisational politics, regulatory constraints, or the specific context that makes your communications work. The templates here are designed for a human-in-the-loop workflow:

How templates are selected and maintained

• Every template is tested with real communications briefs before publication — not generated and published without review.
• Templates are reviewed and updated when AI model capabilities change or when user feedback identifies gaps.
• If you find an error or outdated content, email michael@faur.site — corrections are made within five working days.

Who curates this

CommsWith.AI is curated by Michael MacLennan, a communications strategist and AI practitioner.

Michael has spent 20 years in strategic communications, working at agencies including Grayling and Brunswick, leading digital transformation at companies like Red Bull and Barclaycard, and advising global clients across sectors. This practical experience — combined with formal ML/AI training from Imperial College — informs every template and workflow on this site.
